The Disc Golf PEI Tour

In its inaugural year, the Disc Golf PEI Tour had the goal of setting a new standard for disc golf events in Prince Edward Island. With events taking place all across PEI from May until November, the local disc golf scene is now full of opportunities for Islanders to get out and play competitively. By launching the Tour, we have made it possible for Island disc golfers to play in competitive and sanctioned events on PEI instead of having to travel abroad to Nova Scotia or New Brunswick in order to compete at a higher level.

In 2024, Disc Golf PEI was proud to have Lone Oak Brewing Company returning as our presenting partner and to welcome back so many familiar partners to bring superb meals, enhanced prize packs, and more great additions to our players’ experience on Tour. Alongside Lone Oak and our many event partners, we owe the success of the Tour to our major sponsor and longtime supporter, Tourism PEI. Without the funding and support that Tourism PEI has given us not only for the DGPEI Tour but also for the 2022 Canadian Nationals and the 2023 Discmania Open, Disc Golf PEI would not be where we are today! Now entering its third year, the DGPEI Tour looks to expand on the strong foundation built in 2023 and 2024, while also bringing it back to its roots by lowering entry costs, focusing on competition through the introduction of Tour Standings, and adding a stop to the Tour to bring the event total up to 6! Disc Golf PEI continues to strive to be a trendsetter in competitive disc golf in the Maritimes and the hope is that 2025 becomes our best edition yet!
